In terms of predictions, Week 1 was a bit of a disaster this year. Luckily I didn't get it online in time so I've saved myself at least some embarrassment. Here are my predictions for Week 2, 2014.
Week 2
Thursday, Sept. 11
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens, 8:25 p.m.
Steelers - Looked decent enough against the Browns while the Ravens struggled in Week 1.
Sunday, Sept. 14
Miami Dolphins vs. Buffalo Bills, 1 p.m.
Dolphins - Both teams did a number last week with wins over the Patriots and the Bears respectively. Fins look well, I don't think the Bills are great this year.
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Washington Redskins, 1 p.m.
Jaguars - I love RGIII as much as the next guy, but Bortles looked solid last week. Don't be surprised if this is a tight game.
Dallas Cowboys vs. Tennessee Titans, 1 p.m.
Titans - The Cowgirls didn't have much to show on their last outing. Titans roll on to 2-0
Arizona Cardinals vs. New York Giants, 1 p.m.
Originally Cardinals but Giants since Palmer got injured- It hurts me to say this, but it could be time for Manning and Coughlin to go. Eli is just having too many problems,
New England Patriots vs. Minnesota Vikings, 1 p.m.
Patriots - Even though they lost last week, the Pats looked strong in a number of areas. Brady needs to settle down a little and they'll have this game.
New Orleans Saints vs. Cleveland Browns, 1 p.m.
Saints - Browns looked strong against the Steelers. I wouldn't mind a Browns victory, but I think the Saints have their number.
Atlanta Falcons vs. Cincinnati Bengals, 1 p.m.
Bengals - I've said it before, I'll say it again - this Bengals team will see a Super Bowl in the next few years.
Detroit Lions vs. Carolina Panthers, 1 p.m.
Lions - They dominated the Giants in practically every aspect of the game on Monday. Stafford's on fire - it'll be a firing range on Sunday night.
St. Louis Rams vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 4:05 p.m.
Bucs - This isn't a game that particularly interests me. Bucs should have the Rams even though they have great depth on D.
Seattle Seahawks vs. San Diego Chargers, 4:05 p.m.
Seahawks - I don't think anyone can stop them right now.
Houston Texans vs. Oakland Raiders, 4:25 p.m.
Texans - Anyone remember when the Texans made the playoffs? It seems like a long time ago now, but it's even longer since the Raiders were there.
New York Jets vs. Green Bay Packers, 4:25 p.m.
Packers - Come on against the Jets? What were you expecting me to say?
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Denver Broncos, 4:25 p.m.
Broncos - Chiefs may have gone 9-0 last year but it was Manning's Broncos that made the Super Bowl. He's on form and this could be another big year for him.
Chicago Bears vs. San Francisco 49ers, 8:30 p.m.
49ers - But don't expect a walkover. The Bears have a lot to prove after a shakey Week 1.
Monday, Sept. 15
MATCH OF THE WEEK:
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Indianapolis Colts, 8:30 p.m.
Eagles - As much as I hate to say it, they're probably the best team in the NFC East at the moment.
